Hi, I’m Leah- a day dreamer and coffee lover!

Some of my favorite memories are Saturday mornings at the kitchen counter, sipping coffee with my grandma, mom, and aunt. It was always Folgers and Carnation Milk back then, but more than anything, it was about connection—laughing, talking, and just being together. That feeling stuck with me and I continue to build community through coffee.

For years, I’ve dreamed of creating something that captures that same sense of community through coffee. And this year, I finally took a step toward it. Since January, I’ve been building Café Ortega—a coffee cart rooted in culture, connection, and the belief that coffee is better when shared.
